Biology Research Center
Two biology departments of SRI constitute Brine Biology
Research Center. There are more than 20 senior engineers
and engineers in this center. Since 1984, 6 national key
projects, 17 ministerial projects and 10 international
cooperation projects were carried out in the center. The
center kept ahead on researches and development of natural
carotene product series, microalgae, rotifer, Artemia.
Natural carotene product series, Artemia cysts, rotifer
resting eggs have become commercial. 5 projects were awarded
national and ministerial prizes, the center has kept 3
patents. The center cooperates with international Artemia
Reference center for a long time. We would like to find
the cooperation in the field of microalgae culture, high
density rotifer culture, D.Salina culture and development
of health product relating to D.Salina.
